Estimators/ Senior Estimators

We are looking for estimators with experience in the following areas –

1. Wet Utility bids (water / sewer)
2. Deep excavation projects
3. Pump Stations bids
4. Waste Water treatment plants
5. Sign / guiderail experience
6. Public bidding experience (NJDOT, Turnpike Authority, Municipal, County bids)Responsible to develop a complete estimate for the opportunities that are assigned to you
   •
   Develop a schedule to complete each estimate in a timely manner
   •
   Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits
   •
   Review construction plans and gain a thorough understanding of work to be performed.
   •
   Develop means and methods, with site conditions in mind, necessary to build the project
   •
   Read project specifications to understand specific requirements for the project
   •
   Perform quantity takeoffs as necessary
   •
   Instruct/teach and direct our Estimating Engineers for support help to perform quantity takeoffs and solicit vendors for quotes for all materials and subcontractors needed for the estimate
   •
   Descope all sub quotes received to verify conformance to RFQ issued to them, and correct as necessary
   • Develop an estimate for the project that includes a work breakdown structure for all items of work with labor, equipment, crew productions, and associated materials necessary for the completion of the work
   • Present /discuss /review the project and your estimate with upper management in a bid review

   Close out/complete the estimate and submit estimate to owner by the required due date
