The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring a seamless turnover from Sales to Operations, effective job startup, orderly progression of work during the course of the roofing project, timely billing and change order documentation, and for providing timely information to help keep projects on track to meet estimated profitability. Qualifications
Required
3–7+ years of experience in A&D sales, specification sales, or building materials
Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Experience managing a territory in a field-based role
Ability and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight travel
Preferred
Background in interior design, architecture, or a related field
Experience in flooring, finishes, or construction materials
Familiarity with specification processes and construction project cycles
ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) certification or affiliation preferred
Experience using CRM tools and presentation software

Work Environment & Travel
Field-based role with a structured travel schedule
Expected cadence: approximately two weeks in the field (client visits, events, travel) followed by one week working from the office in Wayne, NJ
Regular travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays
High level of independence in managing schedule and priorities
